Ares

Ares: The architecture of dynamic comfort

Ares is not merely a sofa, but an expression of structural minimalism designed for those who conceive furniture as an extension of their spatial freedom. Characterized by solid, monolithic volumes, this model eliminates the superfluous — including the feet, which remain concealed — presenting itself as a rigorous and sculptural architectural island.

The true heart of the project lies in its invisible shifting mechanism: the separate, independent backrests allow the seat depth to be adjusted with a simple gesture. In this way, Ares transforms its soul to adapt to the rhythms of the day: from a formal “social” configuration, ideal for conversation, to an expansive lounge area or daybed for total relaxation. Crafted with a plywood frame and multi-density padding, it represents the ideal balance between formal purity and functional intelligence.
